blocked someone but they find me on basic search

Not sure if anyone can help ir explain this but i blocked an ex for good reason and got message albeit by email of my profile pic.

i know if blocked you cannot see the person normally but how can basic search work this way.

Am puzzled and concerned.

Hi,

If you post a picture it is listed in the new public photos section. Even if you have blocked people and they can't view your profile they will be able to see pictures in this section for a short period of time. They can't do a search for you but they can search for photos added by couples only then scroll through 20 odd pages of new pics and could find you that way.

Ps I am not stalking anyone...honest! I've blocked a few on here and then they have fab'd my pics and wanted to figure out how they did this

If you block someone then they won't be able to view your profile!

Maybe they have a second account

The account name should be blocked same way as on advanced sesrch or else pointless its causing me grief.

Admin can you help.

The person involved is an ex and if you do sesrch in basic mode of the age and location even if blocjed it shows name and status.
