Friend invite

Been chatting to what seemed like a nice 'couple' but now I think ive made a HUGE mistake by sending them a friend invite, as now we think they are a fake couple or just pic collectors. They havnt accepted it as yet although they have been on line several times today. Soooo my question is, if I block them will it stop them from being able to accept the invite?

Thanks. I wondered, as we have a 'freind' in our list from when we first joined fab 2 years ago. we dont remember who blocked who but her name still shows up in our list. Bit odd we think.
