Can anyone tell us why we get a Fab wink or message notification to our gmail account and when we click on the link, there's no wink or message waiting for us here?

Just a bit concern in case it's like one of those bank phishing scams.

Read what it says on the notification and it will tell you the username of the person who sent the message or wink.

With winks, if the person has sent you a wink before and you haven't deleted it then the new one won't show as "new" on the new winks counter.

If it's messages then they should be there though, so that one has me stumped.

NO at the time there was no one in the winks box. Not the first time this has happened either.

Maybe I deleted them before the email notification got to me and forgot.

I'll be watching it more closely now to see. Just a little concerned that it might of been a scam to get my password and wondered if anyone else had experienced the same, but I guess not, lol!!!

This happens if user who sent the wink has deleted their account (or more likely is suspended by admin e.g spammers/camgirls).

i sometimes get a mail in my inbox sometime after i've read and deleted the wink or message on site, so it's possible just a time delay between your mail service and the site thats how i see it
