webcam help

I know I'm going to get the usual jokes here but when I'm trying to use webcam in the rooms its just closes down my browser. I can use my webcam via MSN no probs but when I try and use it in the rooms my browser just closes. Any ideas? Im using IE 8 and Vista. The webcam I have is a maxwell (cheap one) and it has the latest driver etc....

Hhmmm hopefully someone who knows something about webcams might come along soon.......but in the meantime, try clearing our the Cache/cookies etc and make sure your flashplayer is up to date.

as long as you have shut it down from msn it should work in rooms once you are in chat click on the V and shud work

Well if its shutting down your browser. Have you tried installing another browser such as firefox? Im surprised people still use IE.

Anyways Webcams can be really problematic for some reason in the past few years, I've noticed them being very buggy. I'd suggest try changing browsers. Also its worth trying uninstalling the drivers and software, do a full reinstall of the webcam software.
