Deleting sent pictures

If you have sent a picture to someone via an email, is there anyway you can delete it so they can no long see it?

If you sent it via email, it's like you gave them a copy of the negative......it's theirs!

If you dont want a picture in the wrong hands dont send it to anyone.

Once its out there its out there for good for anyone to do anything they want with.

This is a site messaging system, not email as such. If you read the op, it says "if a pic was sent IN AN EMAIL" which suggests it was not a site message. There is a huge difference. Even a site message, if the picture was "saved" from the message, then deleting it will not work.

People need to be aware how vunerable pictures and videos are one released into the web.

Some sites have disabled the right click function so you cant save them no matter what, i think its about time this site did the same

Read the faqs on here admin will explain why the site doesn't disable right click,if you are worried about your pics don't put them on the web,its pretty simple

Had the OP said "sent a message" you would have a valid point. They didn't so you have not. Simples lol. Not easy to point out a missread! Would hardly be fair to the op to make them believe they had protected themselves when in fact they had not. You do understand that there is a huge difference between email (as quoted by the op) and a message sent on this sites message system?

Cheers for the Advice rugby, I did mean the internal message system on Fab ( sorry for any confusion) , I deleted the picture like you said and it's gone from the message when I look in my sent folder so I guess it works

lots of people say email when they mean a private message on site.

It's not unusual and both scenarios were covered on the thread

Ah! Sorry, I didn't realise that it's only permissable to be the butt of a joke, not the instigator. If I've offended one of the forum royalty I apologise and will rain in my sense of the ridiculous in future!

Or Even EASIER click file in your Browser then save the whole page open the folder theres the image "end of story "

Blocking right click does nothing at all

know I don't have much of a sense if humour and so sometimes miss these things but could you clarify the "joke" as I'm struggling to spot it

Err? Wrong to suggest that you cannot delete a picture once it has been sent by email? I think not. The OP said they sent the pic by email, they MEANT by the site messaging system. Once a pic has been sent by email, you cannot prevent the recipient keeping the copy. That isn't wrong???????

I got pounced on for answering the op's actual question, so I made a sarcastic joke of it and got abused for the bother, but that is quite normal for these forums. You now choose to resurect it a couple of days later??????????????
