Status change of verifier

I'd like to display the summary of verifications on my profile, but two of the verifiers have changed from being a couple to being a single male, which I guess is not uncommon, but my verification summary now indicates that I have met two men, which is not the case, or was not the case when we met as they were then part of a couple.

My question is : Can I somehow delete these from my verification summary or am I stuck with them?

I'm after practical advice, and not questions or comments about why I wish to do this.

If it can't be done I'll leave things as they are.

Ask the 2 guys to go back to a couples status.

I think one of them would still like to be a couple as he refers to his ex-FB in his profile, and seems to indicate they are still occasionally meeting, but it may not be an accurate profile if he does revert it to couple status.

I am not sure whether the verification summary reacts to changed status information in any case. It seems to be set in stone as it keeps the recorded number of verifications even when people have left the site altogether.
