I have for personal reasons hidden my profile i did not realise folk could still message me.

Anyone know if its the normal thing.

Yes, when someone has hidden profile, they can still see menu on left hand side to message you or view your pictures and so on.

Don't think you can be found by search though.

Yep. You've got to hide your profile, hide your pics, and filter all your messages. And even then you'll get friends messaging you to ask if you're OK.

We hid our profile last year after probs on here. After such a long time away we couldn't get back in and requested help with our password many times. No answer, no response. Last week we had winks and friends invites (from newbies) but our profile still shows as hidden. We were surprised as not looked at this site for so long (we couldn't).

When we requested help with our password, to see what was going on, we received help straight away.

We were site supporters and didn't receive help then either.

So hoping that when we removed our photos they were actually removed. Not confident though, not after the messages.

Not happy, and still can't talk to anyone as we're not paying (didn't help when we were though!)

Im not exactly sure what it is that youre asking for help with?

If its about your profile being hidden, have you checked your privacy settings? And same with filters?

If you deleted your pictures then they have gone. Admin only reject pictures to stop them showing if they break site rules for some reason but they still sit in your gallery until you delete them - the account holder is the only one that can delete them I think.
