couples verifying themselves?

I have come across a couple with 3 profiles (I think). 1 as a couple and 2 single profiles. All of the details on the separate profiles match.

Not once on any of the profiles does it mention they have other profiles and it looks like the single female profile has verified the couple profile by saying she has met the male before joining fab.. Is this allowed?
