Near me - GPS facility

Admin,

Current this function will only show "Within half a mile" as the closest setting.

I know GPS can be accurate to within a few feet.

Are there any plans to increase the accuracy of this search facility?

I think admin have mentioned a few times that half a mile is close enough, if you want to know where someone is message them, if they don't reply you know they are not interested.

Perhaps a function could be added so you can send your location via a message, or set it to show you in a specific building - for example a pub, club or holiday venue etc

You don't have to have it constantly turned on. In fact perhaps there should be a time facility - like with the meet today function - where you can set it to show your position for increments of an hour? Saves people forgetting to turn it off.
