Who's near - is there a glitch?

Need to know basis

I always have the Who's near option ON. Today its showing people 100-150 miles away and none of the local people.

Is there a glitch? I can't believe Dorset has suddenly been emptied of swingers, that would not be good at all haha!

Thanks for your feedback or suiggestion as to why that is. Btw I have not changed my personal details so post code is as correct as it was 3 months ago.

The "Who's Near" feature works from your phone's GPS position, not your postcode.

If you're using the "filtered" view, there may be no-one who matches your preferences close by!

It might be worth checking that your location is showing correctly in your GPS/Maps apps.

I had this problem too, I managed to fix it by leaning out of the window with a loudhailer "are there any nearby swingers up for it tonight?"

There weren't, but my landlord did ask me to move 2 days later.

Worth a try tho?

I have a similar glitch. Mine shows people nearby, but during the week when I am away for work (150 -200 miles away from home) it still shows the same people from home as being close by.

I've checked all my gps settings etc. I've reinstalled the browser, checked filters - still no go.

We get that , the way we fix that is to turn our phone's GPS off then back on again ,refresh fab and then all is good in the new location
