Why can't we even message re stolen pictures?

We were told not to post links - but now any/all messages I have across two accounts with any mention and not even the site name being mentioned are being blocked?

That is messages in and out? I can't mail anyone re it and vice versa.

Why can we not discuss it and help one another in private?
