Why can't i verify a meet i had?

Met a couple on Saturday night and i want to verify them, but it says i can't. Is there something i'm not doing right?

Yea you have not been verified so you are not able to verify anyone else yet, its to stop false verifications i guess, if the couple you met are verified ask them to verify you first xx

They have not been verified either so is it just stale mate then? I have been photo verified, but they haven't. Does that make any difference?

You have to be verified by someone to give verifications,so they wont be able to verify you either.

That is really annoying. So there is no way that i can get verified from an actual meet unless i meet with someone that is verified already? I can understand it in a way, but this must happen quite a lot with fairly new people on here. Cos new people would probably prefer to meet with others who are similar in experience.

yea it is a bit annoying but you can be verified by someone by chatting on cam or telephone doesnt have to be a meet xx

I know what you are saying,there was another post on here the other day saying the same.

Can you not go on cam in chat or get the couple you met to do same? Maybe get someone to verify you being on cam then you or the couple can verify the other.

go into chat room ask someone to verify that you are male or female and they have seen you on chat room cam and as long as they are verified they can verify you thats how it usually starts, unless the couple are verified they verify you you can then return the veri

mmmmm.. We see this as a BIG hole in the verification system!

The idea that you can only verify people when you are verified, is a good idea it stop people just signing up twice and verifying themselves.

We see why his site has the phone and cam verifications in that it shows that a couple are a couple a female is what she says she is etc... But then allowing members with Phone or Cam verificarions to verify others by 'Meeting In Person' NOT a good idea.

Surely a verification system is supposed to verify that they are 'Swingers' actually meet and play, not that they are male, female, couple, straight, gay......We have met people for a social drink to see if we would like to play, but we would never verify them until we have actually played.

We understand that this would make it more difficult to get verified, but we ALL had to start somewhere.

The verification system is there (well my understanding of it anyway) to prove that you are who you say you are i.e. a couple, a female or a male and not a fake and is not a system to say how good a meet you are, everyone's meets are different anyway. Although it can lead onto that when people start to verify you.

If you read the FAQ section regarding verifications then it says the following;

"How do I get verified by other members?

You need to find someone who is already verified and ask them to verify you. If you are a couple or a woman then you can get verified by webcam or phone. An easy way to do this is to go into the chatroom while you are both there, switch your webcam on and ask someone to verify you. If you are a single guy then you need to meet someone."

So from reading that it looks like single males can't be verified by webcam or phone for their first verification but I could be wrong on that one!

I still wonder who verified the first one

What if a newbie doesn't want to meet a verified person? Will people have to shag any verified person just to get a tick? What if you don't fancy them? Do you have to do it anyway?

To the newbies, some people don't mind verifications by phone or webcam to at least confirm who you are.......ok to the "established" members you still won't get a look in, but as someone said, we were all new once, so some of us give newbies some slack.

This has confused me too as i thought only couples or females can be verified by phone or webcam, but i have seen a large number of single male profiles that have been verified by cam and phone so can someone please clarify this point.

I think that anyone can be verified by cam or phone, but the general idea is that a single guy cannot try to be a female or couple!

Yeah, any profile type can be verified by any of the three methods (phone,cam,person).

In my mind fems and couples will benifit most by Phone or Cam veri, as it should at least prove there is a female present and not a fake profile from a single guy.

The veri by phone or webcam is good in this situation though as it starts the ball rolling for the 2 non verified members.

If we ever give a phone or cam veri, all we say is something along lines of "seen this person/couple on cam and can happily verify that they are a fem/couple and they match their pics"

I understood it to be that the first verification for single men had to be a 'met in person' verification but after that they could be verified by webcam and phone too just like any other member.

Again I could be wrong on that point but from reading the FAQ on it that seems to be what it suggests too.

The FAQ may be out of date?

The only failed verification we see is the one you've tried to leave for an account you share with your partner (your name is mentioned on the profile and it's from the same internet connection).

The system is designed not to record these sort of verifications.

If you're having problems leaving verifications for other accounts, let us know via the CONTACT link and we'll look into it.

Thankyou everyone for the posts. If it is still ok to be verified in a chatroom on webcam for a guy then i will do that. It does seem a bit of a grey area, as a lot of the posts are suggestiong, but i guess that a webcam verification is just a verification that you are a guy, couple or female, then the met in person verifications are to say what you are like! Not gonna be around til after the weekend, but if any of you guys see "_athanboston" in the chat room please say hi and you can verify me! Thanks again guys for all your help! x

sorry to cut this bit out, but this is the bit that caught my eye....

surely the whole point of verification is that they are genuine?

so if you and the people have gone thru the whole process of chatting and meeting, just because you may not want to take it any further, or vice versa that you wouldn't verify them?

it is a honest question?

see maybe this is where people look at verification differently.... i just want to know that they were genuine and they turned up, others want a blow by blow account.... which personally turns me off big style....
