When you click on a picture it enlarges but why when you click on some profiles they stay very small

I've often found that this can indicate that the pic may have been borrowed from the internet!

*just basing this observation on regular use of tineye/google reverse!

I _think_ that if the image you see in the gallery is very poor quality and, when you click on it, the quality improves, but the image gets smaller, this indicates that a very small image has been submitted, possibly from a poor quality camera phone?

It all depends what size of picture the person has uploaded.
