Hiding photos when writing a message

When composing a message on Fab, the photos appear just below the text box.

Is there any way of hiding these photos while composing the text?

Why?

(we're not saying this is a bad question just curious as your reason)

Sometimes I am mid-way tyoing when someone enters the room and I have to switch pages rapidly(!) so sometimes it would be better if the photos weren't visible on the screen

"To turn off

www.fabswingers.com/hideimages

To turn on

www.fabswingers.com/showimages

It's a bit fiddly to type in, we'll add the links to the FAQ shortly

Once you used the hideimages link, when you go to any other page, the images will be hidden, to return to normality, use the showimages link!

This ^^^

I think it would be good if it can be done...even if it just to make a bigger gap between the mail and the first pic

I must be doing something wrong.

I copied and pasted

www.fabswingers.com/hideimages

into my browser (in Mozilla Firefox and IE8)

then went to send am message but my photos are still visible on the screen.

I'm clearly missing something here

You are not missing anything, the hiding images link doesn't hide the pics on the mail page

Yes I see now that any photos of other people are not displayed, but it would be so useful also to hide the sender's photos too, or, as stated here, just make a bigger gap, between the text-box and the first photo so that it is not automatically displayed.

OK, 2nd suggestion - hopefully this one works!! (well, it does in chrome, but not in IE, so it MIGHT in FF).

As soon as you open the message box (click "Send Message" or "Reply"), stretch the empty message box to fill the whole page, pushing the pics off the bottom.

Definitely agree with this request. If I upload a new picture then straight away I upload my private pic of myself again so that no naked pics on show while replying to messages. Saves embarrassment of people overseeing your phone as naked pics are very noticeable to others! Not being able to hide the pics when messaging is bloody annoying

I vote for this too please. Rather off putting looking at a picture of your own foof while trying to compose a message lol. Have also sent such pics in messages by accident in the past

Oh yes of course! I had not spotted you can resize the text box..This is by far the simplest solution and so quick to do! I can relax now when typing messages now that the photos aren't visible..jst expand the text box each time I need to hide the first photo..I hope others in this thread read what you have suggested. Many thanks.
