Someone has got our private email - they said from a blog site on here & they are not members. We have not put it up anywhere on here. Only given it to a few people we have talked to. Help. Think we are going to cancel membership now

But there isnt a blog site on here and if you haven't posted your addy here how can they have got it from here?

Always a possibility that someone you have given your addy to has passed it on, but not sure why they would want to do that.

Are you sure it isn't a wind-up?

Sadly there are some people about who don't keep things to themselves.

Someone we gave our mail out to passed it on to another person...are you sure this isn't what happened here as unless you gave it out there is no way for anyone to see your E-mail address

A reason I won't put up with the newbie that will only send face picture to email plus I don't want to end up with them constantly emailing me

The best thing to do in these circumstances is not reply, by replying your confirming you address is valid.

While I'm a newbie, i set up a new email for this site. Same name, just different @********.com

Just want to avoid the dreaded "reply all" mistake.

Going off on a tangent here.

Another thought if you use your own personal email to send pictures.

It is highly likely if the pic was taken on a phone that the file contains location data.

This depends on the phone or camera you use. Very few cameras, but alot of smart phones.

So if the pic was taken at your house, you may have just told somebody where you live.

This isn't possible with uploaded pics to the site.
