Don't know if its just me but I feel that fake profiles and time wasters are on the increase. Can't see me renewing membership when it runs out unless they are dealt with. Just saying

Define "fake profile" and "timewaster"...

We see quite often in chat genuine people we know well called these names, often by someone that has been turned down, and most of the time, turned down because they were not who was being looked for.

To us a fake profile is one set up by someone using detials and photos of someone totally different. Hard to prove in a lot of cases, just saying "oh it's fake" without more info wont get admin to take action, if you know a profile is fake, report it, and give the details of exactly why!

A timewaster is someone who arranges a meet and doesnt turn up, or isnt there when you get there. Someone who politely replies to your messages but does not arrange a meet with you is not a timewaster.

Rant over....

I would agree with your definition but also add the following re time wasters

Our profile states don't add us unless you are interested in playing.

It is annoying and as such a waste of time to exchange 1/2 dozen or more then nothing.

I have no problem if someone says sorry no interested

That's why I use the chat rooms. The immediacy of the communication means I can quickly assess whether or not I want to meet someone.

How do you class someone that sends you a friend request after chatting which you accept then find out they've blocked you?without the chance to find out why ? Is this the usual behaviour of some people on fab ? If so why all I've been is polite to them !

We dont have any issues with fakes or timewasters.

Perhaps you should be more selective with who you add to your friends list in the first place.

If you think a profile is fake please report it to Admin and they will check it out
