Silver or gold

I am planning on becoming a site supporter as I seem to be spending more and more time time on here lol so feel its only right to help support a great site in some small way but would just like to know if I choose gold for instance can I swap to silver after the time runs out and visa versa or do you have to stick with what you selected at the outset

We only choose gold because we try and support the site and a fiver a month is nothing
