Unable to verify someone we have met

We have 2 verifications on our profile, and are trying to verify one person that left us a veri. However whenever I type it out and send it the verification vanishes and is not visible to the other person.

While I could verify from my singles account we met her as a couple and so would like to verify from the couples account.

Any idea why we can’t verify this specific persons account?

Figured it out, the person has “no messages from people with no profile pics” turned on, we have not set up profile pics yet so can’t message her.
