Leaving a chatroom

Hi

Since investigating the chatrooms the number of messages received has soared. Fair enough, we can understand that being actively on a chatroom can draw attention (though we haven't used the cam facility) However even when not using the chatrooms we are still getting loads of messages from swingers we'd not previously been contacted by. Not necessarily a problem but are we still showing as active in the chatrooms even if we leave?
