We set one of our filters to stop people without any public photos from messaging.

But we had some come through with pictures attached. Does attaching a pic to your message bypass the filter even if you have no public pics on your profile?

If they have friends only pictures I know they count as public 🤷🏼‍♀️

That makes the filter useless really then.

I dont understand how friends only pics are the same as public.

Not sure friends only pics get round the filter, but if someone adds an avatar, public picture they can message you if you have filters set for that

The friends only do count for that filter. Someone on the forums tested if for me a while back.

They set all their pics to friends only and would still have been able to message me but when they were all set to private they couldn't.

The somebody was me and I can confirm the message came though with him having just friends only pics and no avatar.

Yes it will only block someone if all their pics are private.

I still have it set as it does filter out some but most can still message.

Always has been, no sign of it being mended.

Same as verifications. We don't care if people are photo verified or webcam verified so we'd like to filter out those that don't have meet verifications....can't be done.

Yeah we agree with the verifications too. Just not comfortable with a cam veri.
