I haven't seen any yet, sure...

I've only just started to be a forum whore though.

If they did you would see them being generally sticky at the top of each board.

"If they did you would see them being generally sticky at the top of each board. "

Thanks for the tip.

What I meant from my last comment (to clarify) is that just because I haven't seen one, doesn't mean the forum is capable of having them.

Just thought it may help stop of the few recurring threads.

It was requested quite some time ago. Admin said they had it on their list to do. I agree it would be very useful.

I also agree it would be useful. Assuming anyone bothers to read them. Which is doubtful !

"What is a sticky thread ? "

It is a thread that stays stuck at the top of a forum and is usually used for generally information (so it can be seen at all times).

Hah! Yeah I can see that. A locked sticky thread then perhaps?

"Next question , what's a locked thread ? "

When you can't post in it. A bit like when a mod closes one but doesn't delete it.

You can read it but not add to it.

That wouldn't be very long then if no one could post in it or am I missing something

"That wouldn't be very long then if no one could post in it or am I missing something "

It would be used to hold information or as a point of reference rather than for people to post in.
