Messages disappearing

So in the mast 48 hours. Ive hads

a couple of messages but then they disappear.

Not sure if its 1. I was slow at replying to the first person and 2. I wouldn't meet the second one anonymously..

Been on here a while and never had messages just vanish... what does it mean?

If you have not deleted them and if both received and sent messages to that person have gone they have left the site.
