Extra sign in code box

Hi every time I sign in now ( for the past two months I would say ) as well as the usual user name and password there’s an extra box where you have to copy the code of letters and numbers. This used to only pop up when I was abroad. This adds time to every sign in and is getting very annoying . Any advice on getting rid of it?

Have you tried logging in from a different web browser such as Opera, which is free to download?

I think it’s your browser ..if you go on via “private” it asks for the code ..for a browser that remembers your search history..no code

Hi thanks for responses here and in private. Think it’s a newish thing when you use private browsing

. I’ve always used private browsing on my phone with same server and it never happened before. It’s ok if I don’t use it on private. Just have to accept it I suppose
