Hi all hope you can help - have just bought an advent web cam to use on the site but we cannot get it to work on fab swingers. It's a usb type, it's compatible with windows7. We can see other people in the chat rooms on video but they can't see us. When we press the V button it asks if we would allow access to the cam, which we did but still nothing works? The cam works fine with it's own software as I can see my picture. Do I need a special program for it to work on Fab? Thanks in anticipation, Steve & Jan

i bought an advent and it worked okay aint got it now it was balancing on screen and dropped in ma coffee lol. but it worked okay after a bit of fiddling but soz cant remember how i connected it now x

Does it work if its own software is also running in the background?

Make sure you have no other, applications using the camera, for example MSN ...

Also try closing the camera's own software down and use only the site.

Have you got flashplayer, I think it's now v7 ?

dont know if this helps but when u go into chat room under your cam go into settings n into the "cam" icon make sure its set to the active cam u are using
