You can post a pic and you can post a status but you can't attach them together if thats what you are wanting.

On the mobile site go to home page on the right is an update status box, tap that and type your text. On the desktop site go to my account, the top left corner says 'your current status', tap that and type your text. Don't forget to tap 'save status' when you've finished
