Not getting mail notifications on mobile

I don't seem to be getting mail notifications on my mobile phone . It used to work but in the last few days it's stopped working . Has anyone else had the same problem or have I changed some settings on my phone etc. The fab site says I have opted into receiving them . Can anyone help .
