What happens when you report someone for not showing up to an arranged meet?

I've let this slide a few times lately and only just found the report user function so just wondering what actually happens.

It depends. If they keep on doing it then they get deleted, but I don't know how many reports its takes. If its just you they stood up though they'll probably not get any consequences.

Here is an explanation from Admin from another thread on how they deal with reports.

******Just a quick note. If people report others and we can verify that they have broken site rules, we always take action (either a first and final warning, partially suspended account, fully suspended, mixture of the above).

Every single report sent via the REPORT link is reviewed. Clearly it's not in our interests to have people on here who are bad for the site. Equally we need to verify what has been reported and be fair to those who have been reported.

PS. we never provide feedback on what has happened. It's just not practical given that we get 100s of reports a day.

Here is what the page says after a report has been submitted:

Your feedback has been saved.

A website admin will shortly review your feedback and take the necessary action. After reviewing the evidence available to us, we may disable an account, remove a user, disable certain aspects of that user's account or issue a warning.

By leaving feedback you help improve the site for everyone who uses it. Thank you.******

Just block them and move on, that would be our preferred method.

LOL...it's happened three times in the past month!

Hmmm...maybe it's me...

I don't know, I just think if the report function is there and everyone used it the time wasters would get ed out...possibly??

I'm not sure report function works, every time I've reported someone, all admin do is block reported persons account so I can't see it, never seen or heard of anyone removed from site, so now I'll just block and not bother reporting

I hear what you are saying the problem with this is, the person will just arrange a meeting with someone else and most likely do it again. It doesn't solve the issue, just moves to someone else. We arranged to meet a guy and long story short. .. on the night blew us out and deleted his account. About 6 weeks later he contacted us again to arrange a meeting. He had forgotten that he had arranged a meeting with us and was trying to arrange a meeting with a different profile. When we put his number in our phone to call him we realised who he was. We have chatted to a few people this has happened to.

You really dont know if the guy in question will as you put it 'most likely do it again' in your case you had a meet and a guy failed to turn up !it happens to loads of people, there may have been a genuine reason for him failing to show, there may have been a genuine reason why he had to delete his account,there are thousands and thousands of guys and couples on this site so your very unlucky to have the same people contacting you again and again just to let you down.

Once you realise the same person who once let you down is conntacting you again either turn the tables on them by doing to them as they did to you or better still block them and move on.
