No you can't. There's a window of a couple of minutes where you have the option, then they stay.

What is the criteria for this because I asked admin to remove a thread I started a few weeks ago as others had taken it over for their own agenda but it's still there?

Admin will take lots of factors into account when they review. If it is a thread that only the OP is on then it wouldn't be a problem at a guess. If it is a thread that the OP doesn't like the answers that are within rules then maybe not so.

That's fair enough. I was just curious as I wasn't sure if it was at the discretion of admin or if a poster had the option of removal regardless of content or responses.
