As far as unnecessary messages would this be from guys as you can use the message filter and turn off so you don't receive messages from guys

Ihave checked my settings and they are set for kildare and celbridge so my settings are correct I have been on this site for over 15 yrs and its 1st time I have had this problem

Welcome pal

If you click search top right then check advance search and see if the settings are correct could just be a postcode
