Stuck notification

I have a '1 unread' notification but nothing unread in my inbox. Any thoughts how I might clear it?

I messaged admin a few days ago.

A few things you can try is logging out and logging back in again, if you can work out how switch to the old style mailbox, then back to the new. I tried what I could for mine, and nothing worked but after about a month it cleared itself.

I believe it's often when you've had two messages sent from one person and it doesn't register that you've opened the first one, as when you click on the mailbox it opens the second grouped with the first one above it so you can't open the first one separately.

Try clearing cookies and logging out an in.. the unread message is in a thread of messages with the same person happens when they send another message after one before you open the 1st one you could try going through all your messages.. but it will clear in time also

Tried all of the above but nothing.

Scrolled down in desktop mode and found a message from a couple of weeks ago that somehow was now unread.
