Mails marked replied but I don't have replies

This morning, unusually, I have 2 mails I sent marked as replied but I don't have replies from either.

Is something up _ith the mail system so that deleted is sho_ing as replied? Or is it something else?

It's just happened again!

Someone kindly suggested that maybe a previous mail had been replied to, just not a reply to the most recent mail. But in this case, I've never mailed them before.

So have they replied and I've not got it? Or have they not replied at all?
