I've had a status ban since Christmas and I don't know why I've recently renewed my gold subscription but still can't post a status I've also sent admin a message but had no reply.

Don't shoot the messenger. I'm just reporting what I've seen said by others.

When your status is banned, if you contact admin and you get no reply, your ban should be considered permanent.

Op also remember that being a site supporter is purely for the extra benefits on the site whereas you can have additional use of the site nothing else as rules are in place for everyone no one gets treated any differently

Often a ban is fow naming and shaming, not saying that's what you've done OP but you must have done something.

You might be right i had a couples account who thought it would be funny to send single men round to the house so I warned people about them didn't think I'd get a ban this long for that.
