Can anyone tell me why my camera suddenly wont activate and has a line through it ?

You might be best googling this.

Old box brownies are pretty prone to problems.

Try turning it off and on again.

Bit of a difference between the VGA camera on your 20 year old phone and an Arri S3 or Red Raptor with full set of primes....may need a bit more technical details

Thanks for getting back to me. The cam works ok on my phone, its on my new laptop thats the problem but was fine last week

If it’s new, get in touch with who you got it off. May be faulty, may be a driver or permissions issue but they should hopefully be able to sort it out easily (assuming you’ve tried it in teams or similar to check it’s not on?)
