FabSwingers.com forum: Wrong location for some clubs

At present the clubs section is UK only, hence I think that's why they're listed under the Channel Islands.

As there aren't any Channel Island clubs listed it shouldn't be too confusing - all four clubs are obviously located in the Canaries.

Thanks but that makes no sense. If the Clubs section is UK only then why are they listing clubs not in the UK e.g. Canary Islands which are not in the UK? Either do not list any clubs not in the UK or if you want to list them then at least put them in the correct part of the world.

Sorry...hadn't had enough coffee when I wrote that.

As long as I've been on the site (17 years now) the geography of the club section has been UK only.

Over time things change, hence there's now a politics forum, a virus one, a biker one, more international ones etc. As a lot of swingers visit the Canaries clubs there were added to the club section but as there was no overseas element I guess the decision was made to pop them in the channel islands bit to separate them from mainland UK clubs.

Would it be easy to adjust that to 'Canary' rather than 'Channel', given there's no clubs in the Channel islands? I've no idea I'm afraid. But in the grand scheme of things I guess it may be a lower priority than any other site amendments.

All the clubs clearly state their locations for clarity. 🤷‍♂️
