Public photo message filter

I know it can be got round by making a private pic public for a bit and the messaging but does Friend only pictures count too? I'm getting so many messages with no public photos but they do have friend only ones - I can't believe that many would go through the hassle of making a pic public just to message.

The filter does specifically say public photos so I'm guessing they are switching pics on and off. It's not really a hassle for them just a couple of clicks.

I think they like the idea they are bypassing filters. If I get them in my messages I don't bother replying.

Thru switch photos, as Juliette said.

I block them as they are those people who most likely won’t respect your boundaries.
