If we want to block messages from single men, but we message a specific single male, will that person be able to reply?

Yes.

It's a great way for couples to guarantee you only get messages from those you're interested in.

If you message them, wink them or have them as friends they can message you.

It's why you'll see the 'Not looking for single men' marker on many couples and women's profiles, yet they'll have it listed as seeking men. It's just good inbox management. 😉
