Deleting individual messages

Are we missing something?

It used to be that we could delete, or keep, individual messages, but now, even deleting a whole thread and trying to start again with a fresh message... it joins on to all the previous messages which we thought we had just deleted..!

If we are missing something obvious please enlighten us... thanks in advance.

Might make a difference if using group message settings, but I think the standard clicking the bin to the right side of the message would just delete that

I think this is what happens since they removed the message headers. Previously you were starting a new message thread when you used a new header now it just reopens your previous thread.

No because it is just one continuous thread now, you don't start a new thread with a new message like you previously did when we had message headers.

I find it quite handy to be able to see previous chats. Especially if it's been a while since the last message. 🤷‍♂️

Me too, I don't see why being able to see previous messages is a problem.
