Why do people who you have lots of message with and a telephone conversation with not turn up when you have a meet.. then block you.it's happened twice to us..such a total waste of time.. is there any way you can report them so that they don't keep wasting people's time ???

There's the option to report from their profile. Choose 'arranged meet didn't turn up '

Impossible to do when they block you before you get the chance

O o O oo

You can still report from the mail exchange or from the blocked profile. The menu to the left of the profile will still have a report link

We often find that there's accounts that like to talk. Like to get your content.

We're more careful now. We don't share pictures like we used to. Those accounts soon get bored.

They might have so many reasons, some legit, some less so.

It's a free world and people can do what they want even if, sadly, it often comes at the expenses of other people's time, money, patience.

Internet semi-anonimity and detachment enables this a lot, in a lot of people.

Some just want the thrill of having successfully acquired a date

Some are just picture hunters

Some were genuinely interested but chicken out last minute

Some are struck by IBS and then are too embarrassed to explain

Some are just fickle cunts

Some had a last-minute option they liked better

I'm not gonna say "don't take it personally", because it affects YOU and therefore it IS personal. Just grow a thick skin, and have a series of "checkpoints" (many couples here have a lot in place, for their own safety and sanity, and rightfully so...) in place to limit these occurrences to a bare minimum.

Don't lose faith. 3

On the flip side, maybe they are sat there thinking

"shit I was really looking forward to this meeting but now I've just seen a big red flag from this couple, I need to block them".

We're all different and have different tolerances and boundaries and sometimes one tiny thing is enough to ruin an otherwise seemingly great meet.
