I can’t seem to get the “see who’s near who matches your preferences” function to work; it just seems to show everyone local, no matter what I set my preferences to.

Yes, that’s what I’m saying. Switching between “see who’s near” and “see who’s near matching my preferences” doesn’t change the output, no matter what I set my preference to.

Ok, have you tried clearing the cookies for the site, it'll log you out and possibly fix the bug issue

I'm also having the same problem as the original poster, i've try deleting cookies and that doesn't work. On a search page it's telling me my post code is SW1P the other day it was CV1. I'm 200 mile from SW1P and a round 100 mile from CV1

It goes by your "looking for" on your profile. For example we have single men blocked from messaging, when we look at "see who's near", then "see who matches your preferences" then Men don't show.
