FabSwingers.com forum: Hide on “Looked at Me”

We have this option checked (cause we don’t want to look like stalkers).

But we obviously DO show up on peoples “who looked at me” as we get lots of return looks from random people who’s profiles we’ve looked at.

What is the point of having the option to do this if it doesn’t work?

Has anyone else noticed that this “feature” clearly doesn’t work or just me?

Just in the last few weeks I've looked at profiles I've never seen before and even though I am in ninja mode it's too much of a coincidence that they then look at me a few minutes later.

Is it people you have looked at from the forums though? It's not that much of a coincidence in that case as they will see your profile when you comment and maybe have a look at you too.

I used to think that before when it happened but I've never seen any of these people in the forums.

When people enable 'hide on looked at me' you can't tell when they've viewed your profile. People refer to that as stealth mode.

Yes I've had it turned on for 4 or 5 years but when someone looks at me within a few minutes of me looking at them I check it just in case and it's showing as on.

You have to leave it on, some people turning it on and off and you can see their views showing / disappearing as you do.

If you turn it on, look at a profile, then turn it off, the view will show.

A think its just a coincidence its happened with me ive been snooping then notice theve snooped too but i know i definitely don't show on on lists

I have notice this too, using hide me 99% of the the time but still get the look back at you promptly.

It may not totaly be the who's looked at me issue but it could be the home page local updates section that can also show that xxx has viewed your profile with an eye icon
