Blocked/Not blocked

An old friend has returned to the site after a break and tried to add us but we are showing as a blocked on her page and vice-versa.

However, neither of us are showing on each others Blocked List, so we can't unblock eachother!?

Needless to say, neither of us have ever blocked eachother in the past and hers is a brand new profile...

What's going on??

What you describe sounds like the type of block that occurs when a profile is reported. In that case I think the system automatically blocks both parties.

Sometimes if a user is asked to photo verify, attempts to view their profile result in seeing the blocked page until the process is complete.
