who's near by ?

Keep seeing this on posts, but cant find where as the nearest click says 5 miles on search , have I missed something ?

I think what you are referring to is when using the GPS aided "who's near" function on a smartphone - it takes proximity down to about a mile on fabswingers and less on fabguys.

Can anyone tell me why my who’s near only reads a quarter of a mile closest distance when a friend’s clearly states in touching distance please.

Are you both using fabswingers? I have only seen touching distance reported on fabguys.

Fabswingers only gives distance to a 1/4 of a mile as closest.
