Showing offline when profile hidden

If I’ve hidden my profile, does it mean I can be online without showing I’m online?

I am fairly certain OP that if someone has you on their hotlist that you will show as on line even with hidden profile

No. It just means they won't be able to view your profile.

You can't hide being online.
