Can't find some of my friends

I've had 2 occasions now where I've met swingers at clubs and stuff, we've went to add eachother and we can't find one another. No filters, no blocks from either of us and no suspensions. Not even reported each other. Any ideas if this is just a bug? None of the accounts are hidden either. TIA
