If you name people you will be banned from posting updates, reporting them to admin was the right thing to do but breaking the rules isnt

It isn't ok no, but it can take up to 48 hours for a report to be dealt with. Mods don't look at reports, only admin do.

But naming and shaming anywhere on site isn't allowed either as it would be open to abuse by profile owners.
