Removing a verification you've given?

Long story short I had a great meet last week, happily gave a verification to them and politely asked for one back, since they undoubtedly help others see you're genuine and that people enjoy your time with them. The individual in question has ignored several polite messages requesting a verification despite saying they'd provide one when I left their apartment. So, how can I withdraw my verification for them? I don't see how it's fair to give them credit and kudos if they're going to ignore me.

You can block the person and the verification won't show
