Please can you introduce this feature in your website? That would perhaps help with cutting off STALKERS and those who create multiply accounts, too.

Fab doesn't detail the full methodologies used against any wrongdoers, which may include what you outlined OP. Though I'm guessing that you meant possibly that users could block all users with the same IP address. It sounds reasonable though I'm guessing also that awful abusers who are determined, will use many tools to evade identification

These days you could easily just use a VPN to circumvent that

Or just disconnect and reconnect will give 90% of people a new IP address.

We wish they would, we have someone who keeps creating new accounts and then watches us. He even pretended he didn’t know us and started a conversation like he didn’t know us. Today he said he was going to see us at a club as we listed a meet and don’t know he had set up a new account. Very weird and this site does need to do something to prevent people being banned and then just coming back again with a new account.

Wow, that sounds super creepy and weird. Be safe.

IP addresses are dynamic and often change after a reboot etc.

Blocking a users mac address would be more effective, but that only applies to a specific machine so could prove difficult if they use multiple devices to access the site

Blocking MAC addresses won’t do anything. Apple devices cycle MAC addresses by default, and you can set windows and android to do it too. Or you can change it yourself by hand. Your MAC address is usually only known by the first device in the chain of your internet connection, most likely your home router.
