I have age range message filters set so how are new people outside of the range bypassing this and managing to send me messages?

Sorry if this has been discussed before but I can't find it

I've had the same recently, checked my filters and still active. I just hoped it was a glitch and didn't reply so they couldn't bypass in future.

Assuming they got the stop warning and tried it anyway.

I assumed that as I had blocked anyone from outside the age range they shouldn't be able to message?

Are you sure you have clicked the link to block all outside the age range? And not just set the age range? Xx

I tried it and over age limit is deffo blocked no way I could send you message

Hull

If you have ever replied to a message or winked them prior to setting your age filter they will not be blocked as both these activities stop the filters from working.
