You can delete it for a very short while after you've posted but you can't edit it.

You can preview it though

Ok thank you ah thats a shame you cant even if you could amend it it would be something

Yes, you can amend it, but you have to do it within 5 minutes of posting it and it will say "removed by poster", then you type it again, you can also report your own thread and let admin know that you want it deleted and then to post the same thread again
