FabSwingers.com forum: What determines the appearance or not of historic message exchanges?

I tend to delete all my messages to keep my inbox and sent folders tidy.

If I subsequently send someone a message (or they send me one) I can usually see the message history whether I previously deleted or not.

However, this is not always the case. Sometimes I only see my messages and not theirs. Or I only see recent messages.

Do you know what determines whether previous message history will appear or not with any subsequent messaging? Like is there a time limit?

It may depend on whether they've deleted your message their end or not.
